Your body is how you interact with the world around you. So learning to use it better makes you more effective in everything you do.
My work is based on the ability of our brains to grow, function and improve through practice, and on the fact that we can improve with age. It is about helping you find and create physical autonomy and freedom in your life.
We do this by:
Helping you to know your own body – what you can do and what you cannot. Practicing mindfulness in each movement. Learning to acknowledge that your mind and body need time to recover, rebuild and process learning.
Whilst learning new skills we keep the movements simple as they are inherently safer. The interesting and more complex variations however keep things fun and refine basic patterns to build the mind-body connection.
The lessons are based around core positions of human movement – sitting, kneeling, crouching or squatting, standing, and lying down.
Life is too short to make your body an enemy, so allow your exercise to be fun
