My name is Annie Minton and Body-Brain Exercise is my answer to an exercise programme incorporating ideas based on The Feldenkrais Method.
From a background of dance, fitness and design I was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method during my training in the Fitness industry in England.
I was drawn to it's emphasis on the 'whole self in action', on variations and choices, and on 'learning' through movement.
Completing my Feldenkrais Training in 1995 I wanted to bring a Feldenkrais approach to exercise,
so that students could discover how moving could be easy and fun, and yet produce a powerful and flexible body.
Through Body-Brain Exercise and Feldenkrais ATM lessons students find new ways to move and new ways to think so that new challenges can be met.
They find within themselves a flexible brain and an intelligent body.
